Bill Moyers interviewed Mark Johnson of playingforchange.com
He is an independent filmmaker and started this project about 10 years ago, where he is recording street musicians all over the world and has them play sometimes the same song.
His movie was in several film festivals and should be in some theaters in New York soon. With the money he raises he is building music schools for poor neighborhoods all over the world, because it gives these kids a chance to change their lives. You can see the interview and movie clips on PBS/Bill Moyers journal website or on pod-cast.
